TRUE TO THE MOOD BOOK CLUB
Like a lot of book lovers, I belong to a book club. It’s a group
of eight good friends who get together every couple of months
to discuss a book we’ve all read. In our first year, we named ourselves The True to the Mood Book Club, after a reference in
E. M. Forster’s novel, A Passage to India. It’s been hugely important to me as a writer to have listened to, and learned from, my friends. We have widely varying tastes, which makes the debating fun. We plan to stay True to the Mood forever.
